General Rehearsals

When: Tuesdays 6:30 − 9:30 pm
Where: 555 Lerner Hall

Arrive no later than 6:15 pm
Tuning will occur at 6:29 pm
The downbeat will occur precisely at 6:30 pm

Occasional extra rehearsals: Thursday evenings or Saturdays
Sectionals are at the discretion of the conductor and section leaders

Weekly Schedule: September 29th

6:30pm: Beethoven, focusing on 3rd and 4th mvts.
7:45pm: 20 min break
8:05pm: Beethoven, 2nd mvt.
8:35pm: Shostakovich  
8:55pm: Barber, beginning through m. 96. Tutti.
9:15pm: Barber, final section. 6 after figure H (m. 96, Piu calme…) to the end.  
    •    Personnel required 9:15pm to 9:30pm: Flutes 1&2, Ob1, Eng Horn, Clarinets 1&2, Bass Clarinet, Horns, Trumpets, Timpani, Harp, Strings.  
    •    Personnel dismissed at 9:15pm: Flute 3, Oboe 2, Eng Horn, Bassoons, Trombones, Tuba, Percussion
